Cyclists are invited to attend a free event to have their bikes marked this weekend.
The initiative organised by Cumbria Police will take place on Sunday at Ewanrigg and Netherton Community Centre, Ennerdale Road, Maryport.
People can bring along their bikes and have them marked for free with a postcode-marked tamper-proof sticker.
They will also be able to register their bikes for free on the BikeRegister, the national database used by police forces.
On the day cyclists can purchase a permanent ID etching for their bikes at a cost of £5.
The event runs from 1pm to 3pm.
