Overnight road closures are planned on the A66 in Cumbria from next week.
The road will be closed at Thornthwaite between 8pm and 6am from Monday until May 24 for resurfacing.
Outside those hours traffic lights and a 40mph speed limit will remain in place.
It is the latest phase of ongoing work to improve the road's flood resilience in the Bassenthwaite Lake area.
Traffic travelling between Keswick and West Cumbria will be diverted via the A591. HGVs will be directed via the M6 and A595.
Work to strengthen the central reservation embankment at the western end of the dual carriageway next to the lake is now complete and the western carriageway has reopened.
The eastbound side of the dual carriageway has a lane closure in place to increase safety as vehicles approach the traffic lights.
