A NATIONAL minute's silence in memory of those who died in the Manchester terror attack will be observed in Carlisle today.
An alarm at 11am will sound in the Civic Centre and invite staff and visitors to pause. The alarm will sound again to mark the end.
A book of condolence remains available at the city's tourist information centre in the Old Town Hall. It will be in place until 4pm on Friday, June 2.
The centre is open from 9.30am-5pm Monday-Saturday and between 10.30am and 4pm on Sundays.
