A paraglider who crashed on a Cumbrian fell suffered back, chest and ankle injuries.
The woman, in her sixties, got into difficulty and came down on Melmerby fell, near Penrith.
She was airlifted to the Great North Air Ambulance based in Langwathby before being transferred to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle by the North West Ambulance service.
Emergency services were called at 4.25pm on Thursday. The woman's injuries are said to be minor.
