A woman was fined and given a curfew, after admitting being the owner of a dangerously out of control dog which attacked a man.
The charge related to an incident on March 7 in Highmoor, Wigton, when Rachel Louise Andrews' German shepherd injured a man.
The 42-year-old also admitted a separate charge of being the owner of a dangerously out of control dog in the Lowmoor to Highmoor area of the town on March 13.
Andrews, of Highmoor, pleaded guilty to the charges at Carlisle's magistrates' court and was given a six week curfew and £150 fine.
She must also pay £85 costs and £350 compensation to the victim.
A decision on whether the dog should be destroyed or what restrictions should be imposed will be made later this month.
