Police are continuing to investigate a crash which left two teenagers in hospital with serious injuries.
It happened at 6.20pm yesterday in Drigg, near to Holmrook.
Two teenagers were taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle with serious, but not life threatening injuries.
They were an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, both from the Drigg area, and were in a blue Skoda Fabia.
The drivers of two other vehicles – a 68-year-old-man from Holmrook and a 45-year-old woman from the Drigg area – were taken to the West Cumberland Hospital with minor injuries.
Police, fire and ambulance all attended the crash and the road, the B5344, was closed for several hours while investigations took place and the vehicles were recovered.
The other vehicles involved were a silver Volkswagen Eos and a white Audi A6.
