DASHCAM footage has highlighted the dangerous conditions faced by drivers in Cumbria this weekend.
Recorded on Saturday evening (17) it it shows a journey down the M6 south of Brampton. Snow can be seen accumulating on the side of the road, and visibility very poor for drivers.
Today (18) driving conditions in the north of Cumbria remain poor, with the A66 shut because of heavy snowfall.
Although sub-zero temperatures are affecting large parts of the county, roads in the south remain clear.
No disruption has been reported on the A590 between Barrow and the M6, and the county council's team of gritters continues to salt major road links.
