Crash involving 'multiple' vehicles closes A66 in both directions
A crash involving multiple vehicles has forced the closure of the A66 in both directions.
Emergency services are dealing dealing with the collision on the eastbound carriageway at Brougham, near Penrith.
Police were called today at 12.15pm.
The A66 is closed in both directions between the Kemplay roundabout and Temple Sowerby.
A force spokesperson said: "Delays are to be expected as emergency services deal with the incident."
