BONES David Carmel, Niamh, Ciara and the family of the late David of River Street, Carlisle would sincerely like to thank everyone for the huge outpouring of support, kindness and love following their recent bereavement. We have been overwhelmed by the kindness of neighbours, friends, colleagues past and present, former students, parents and all members of the citywide education community who have sent cards, flowers, photographs, paintings and all manner of thoughtful gifts to support us. Heartfelt thanks for every kind donation to the Samaritans fund https://davidbones.muchloved.com/ we have taken great comfort from all the tributes. A debt of gratitude to NHS staff in Newcastle, Leeds and Beech C Ward of the Cumberland Infirmary. Notably the compassion of Dr Tom at the hospital and Dr Chris Corrigan at Carlisle Healthcare. David's celebration of life service was perfect and for this we'd like to thank all those who in person lined the route, attended the crematorium or supported us virtually. Vandella for the stunning flowers, Vicky Pounder the incredible celebrant who beautifully conveyed David's 50 year life story and legacy and Peter and all at Jill Glencross funeral directors who sensitively took every care to ensure David's wishes were met their approach was kindness itself. David will always be with us and his immense legacy makes us feel so very proud.
