ELLIOT John Leslie (Alston) Methodist Local Preacher. Aged 95 years. Died on 17th June, at home. Treasured husband of Mary and the late Winnie, beloved father of Ruth, Stephen and Alan and a dearly loved father-in-law, granda and great-grandad. Funeral at St Augustine's Church, Alston, on Friday 1st July at 11am, followed by refreshments. All friends invited. Private cremation. Family flowers only, but donations in memory of John maybe made to MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) or Open Doors UK, serving persecuted Christians.
