STACKPOOLE Anthony 'Tony' Very peacefully at home on Saturday the 9th May 2020 following a long illness bravely bourne, Tony, aged 69 years, much loved husband of Sheila, dearest dad of Theresa, Suzanne and Lee, loving Granda of Zara and Aoife and a proud Great Granda of Ellie-May. Private Funeral service with a memorial service to be held at a later date. Family flowers only with donations in lieu if so desired, to be divided between Eden Valley Hospice and Hospice at Home. Assalam –o- ealaykum warahamah Tullah wabarakatuh

In remembrance of my dear friend Anthony Stakepoole (Tony) I pray for peace, harmony, mercy and blessings of Allah the God almighty.

Death is a reality in which all human beings believe. ''Kullu nafsin zaikatul maut''(The Holly Qur'an 3:185).Every Soul shall taste Death.

Oh heart, If one should say to you that the soul perishes like the body, answer that the flowers wither, but the seed remains, (Khalil Gibran).

I pray and hope the seed of love, compassion and unity (The Carlisle Unity Festival, Carlisle Unity Bell and support for refugees projects) within our diverse communities my friend Tony has sown will continue to grow and blossom.

Your beloved Mrs Sheila, daughters Theresa and Susanne and son in law Lee. Granddaughters Zara and Aoife and great-granddaughter Ellie-May. Half-sister Trish in Yorkshire. In Southern Ireland, Half-brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews especially Christine, Ann and Martin and your Comrades Aftab Khan, Greg Mcgeorge, Ramy Hassan, Phil Hewitson and Jon Greenwood and many more will continue and remember you and carry forward your wishes and mission in many ways.

For life and death are one, even as the river and sea are one. Goodbye, my friend, we shall meet again in heavens. Allah Hafiz.
