Five goals from the in-form Jamie Bramley helped Northside to a convincing win in the Workington Sunday Football League.

The current league champions overcame Waverley 8-2 with Liam McCullough chipping in with a brace, plus one from Scott Musgrave.

Bradley Newell replied with two goals for Waverley.

Last term's league runners-up Blue Bell were also on top form as they slammed seven past Grasslot without reply.

Daniel Park and Ryan Connelly both bagged braces for the visiting side, with Phil McLuckie and George Close also finding the back of the net and an own goal wrapping up the scoring.

But it is Deer Orchard who lead the way at the top of the premier division, after a 4-1 home victory over Sun Inn, who had a lone Daryl Creighton goal to show for their efforts.

It was tight at Pack Horse when they entertained Senhouse Street Club and it finished all square at 1-1.

Gareth Brunton picked up Pack Horse's goal with Nathan Brash replying for Senhouse.

Seaton Royal Oak continue to lead the way in division one and they just edged home on Sunday, beating Red House 2-1.

Goals from Andrew Bromley and Tom Powell cancelled out the lone strike from Gary O'Driscoll.

Gaslight are in second place after a 5-0 victory over Highfield, thanks to goals for Craig Straughton, Michael Devonport, Shaun Carter, Chris Williams and Daniel Davis.

It was much tighter in the remaining two games with just one goal separating the sides on both occasions.

There was a home win for Silloth Albion, who edged out Maryport United 4-3.

Kris Nichol struck home on two occasions for Silloth, with Paul Glencross and Adam Carr also on the scoresheet. No scorers were available for Maryport.

Dearham won away from home, with a 2-1 win at the home of Maryport Labour Club.

Matthew Langstaff and Max Cumming goals saw Dearham to the win, despite a lone goal from Labour's Ellis Guardhouse.
