Carlisle United have received a second allocation of tickets for the Bolton Wanderers trip - and they go on sale tomorrow.

The Blues have received a further 1,751 tickets for the game on Saturday, October 7.

It comes after United quickly sold their initial 1,965 - leading them to ask the Trotters for more.

The Cumbrians have now confirmed they have received the second batch, which include 669 tickets in the lower tier and 1,082 in the upper tier of the Franking Sense South Stand.

They go on sale in person, by telephone and online at 10am on Thursday.

It promises to be a bumper travelling support for Paul Simpson's side as fans visit Bolton's ground to watch the Blues there for the first time.

United's only previous visit to the Toughsheet Community Stadium, a 1-0 defeat in April 2021, came at a time fans were locked out of games during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Carlisle's most recent trip to Bolton when fans were allowed came back in October 1987 at Wanderers' former home of Burnden Park - a 5-0 defeat for the Cumbrians that day in Division Four.
