Carlisle man due in court on robbery charge

A man is due in court today to face two criminal charges.

Anthony Sheckley, 45, of Henderson Road, Currock, Carlisle, will appear at the city’s magistrates court.

He will be charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Mr Sheckley was arrested on Saturday.
