Snow warning for Cumbria

The snow that has brought chaos to much of Britain could hit Cumbria on Monday.

The Met Office has updated an earlier weather warning for North East England to include eastern parts of Cumbria.

It says a band of snow will affect the region on Monday with accumulations of between two and five centimetres at low levels and 10 centimetres or more on the fells.

Forecasters say the public “should be aware of the risk of disruption to travel”.

I already trust our police to act in the best interests of the law-abiding

No. Who's to say the new code will be followed faithfully?
