Six shotguns stolen in raid on Cumbrian farm

Six shotguns were stolen during a break-in at a Cumbrian farm, say police.

The weapons were among a number of items taken in the raid on an office and container at Gatra Farm, Lamplugh, overnight on April 16-17.

The shotguns were inside the owner's gun cabinet.

Also stolen were a red Outlander quad bike, two petrol strimmers and a large quantity of power tools.

It is believed the offenders made off across fields, cutting a fence in the process.

Anyone offered items for sale, or with information about the burglary, should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
