Diamond-tipped drill stolen from vehicle in Carlisle

Police are appealing for information after a diamond-tipped drill was stolen from a car.

At about 1am on Monday, March 31, a VW Transporter parked on Warwick Road, Carlisle, was broken into.

The drill was taken and an unsuccessful attempt was made to steal an in-built radio/satellite navigation.

The constabulary have released CCTV images which show two men walking in the area shortly before the incident. Officers would like to speak to the two men, who they believe may have information regarding the incident.

Anyone who recognises the men in the pictures or has any information on the incident is asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101 and ask to speak to Special Constable Nick Borrett.

Alternatively anyone can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
