And in a separate incident on John Street, Maryport, at about 4.40pm on Wednesday, an assault took place involving a man and a woman.

Two women were on the incident at the time and witnessed the incident. Police are asking members of the public with information on the incident to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
