Police appeal after woman attacked in Carlisle city centre

A woman suffered a split lip and a sore head when she was attacked by another female in West Walls, Carlisle.

Police say the victim was walking towards the car park behind Marks & Spencer when she was assaulted around 3pm on Wednesday April 30.

Officers have only just released details of the incident.

They are appealing for witnesses and hope to speak to a passer-by who asked the victim if she was all right. Call 101.
