Conleth Hill has joined the cast of the upcoming Peaky Blinders spin-off.
Best known for his role as Varys in Game of Thrones, Hill will play Clemmy Keeler, the head of a rival Birmingham crime family in the new series.
The show is once again set in Birmingham and is filmed in and around Digbeth Loc. Studios.
Conleth Hill and more join BBC Peaky Blinders spin-off cast
Hill is among a wave of new cast members announced by the BBC for the 1950s-set series, which continues the story of the Shelby family in the years following the Second World War.
The new Peaky Blinders generation will face off against the Keeler gang, led by Mr Hill’s character Clemmy.
Other additions to the cast include Cal O’Driscoll as Aidan Keeler, Daniel Monks as Detective Inspector Bell, Samuel Bottomley as Eliot, Arturo Muselli as Angelo, Eugene Collins as Frank, and Lucie Shorthouse as Kezia Lee.
Ned Dennehy and Packy Lee will reprise their roles as Charlie Strong and Johnny Dogs.
The new spin-off will be directed by Mike Barker (The Testaments) and Anna Zackrisson (Detective Hole).
It centres on Jamie Bell and Charlie Heaton as Duke and Charles Shelby, navigating a city filled with both opportunity and danger.
It picks up a decade after Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, a feature-length film released earlier this year.
Cillian Murphy starred in the original series as Tommy Shelby, with Barry Keoghan taking on the role of Duke in the film.
Jessica Brown Findlay, Lashana Lynch, and Lucy Karczewski have also been cast in the upcoming series, with details of their roles yet to be revealed.
Steven Knight, Peaky Blinders creator and screenwriter, said previously: "Once again it will be rooted in Birmingham and will tell the story of a city rising from the ashes of the Birmingham blitz.
"The new generation of Shelbys have taken the wheel, and it will be a hell of a ride."
