Roxanne Wallace, 26, disappeared after leaving the city's Cumberland Infirmary at 5.30pm on Saturday, where she had attended the accident and emergency department with minor injuries.

Police said they were concerned for her welfare.

But a spokesman for Cumbria Police confirmed this evening that officers have now located her in the Dumfries area.

Senior officers had earlier issued a general appeal through the media, asking anybody with information about her whereabouts to get in touch urgently.
