A jury has been told the victim of a Carlisle robbery "recognised" one of the raiders.
Carlisle Crown Court heard how shocked Frank Richey was confronted by two men who burst into his city home during the early hours of January 13.
Mr Richey says cash and mobile phones were among the items stolen by the robbers, who ransacked his address and brandished a knife and Taser before fleeing.
Continuing his evidence on day two of a trial today, Mr Richey said he recognised one of the men during the incident as a facial disguise slipped.
He later picked the same man out of an identification procedure.
That man, he stated, was 28-year-old Carl Stephen Pattie.
Mr Richey told jurors: "I recognised him with the mask on. I knew the guy."
However, Pattie, of Botcherby Avenue, Carlisle - along with 34-year-old Mark Anthony William Perrett, of Borland Avenue, also Carlisle - denies a charge of robbery.
The trial continues.
