People were given the chance to question would-be MPs for the Workington constituency in Cockermouth this evening.
One hundred and eighty people attended a parliamentary hustings in Christ Church, Sullart Street.
Sue Hayman (Labour), Roy Ivinson (Independent), Phill Roberts (Lib Dem) and Clark Vasey (Conservative) attended.
Ukip candidate George Kemp was unable to attend.
They answered questions on a range of topics, including the local health service, Brexit, education, immigration, nuclear weapons and breastfeeding.
The event was organised by Churches Together in the Cockermouth Area.
