Two men have been unanimously found guilty of raping a woman in a park.
The jury took seven hours and three minutes to return the verdicts on Stuart Milne, 37, and Terry Parry, 30.
They had both denied raping the 18-year-old woman in St Nicholas Gardens, Whitehaven, but were convicted after a seven-day trial at Carlisle Crown Court.
Milne had faced a second allegation of sexual assault, which he also denied. The jury found him not guilty of this offence.
Milne and Parry, both of Bow Fell Road, Whitehaven, will be sentenced tomorrow.
