Power cut hits hundreds of homes
Hundreds of homes and businesses in Maryport and Flimby lost power today following a high-voltage fault.
The power cut happened at about 12.10pm.
Electricity North West connected all but 25 properties to a temporary supply within an hour while it worked to fix the fault.
Power has now been returned to all affected customers.
