Police tape
Police are investigating after a 12-year-old girl was verbally abused in west Cumbria.
The incident took place at Market Place in Whitehaven at 7.30pm on Monday, January 16.
Officers are looking to trace a white female who is believed to be in her 30s.
She has blonde hair and was wearing a black cardigan and red top.
She was also in the company of a man.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
