A 30-year-old man suffered leg and arm injuries in a crash on the A66 this morning.
It happened at Crackenthorpe, near Appleby, at 10.45am.
The crash involved a car and motorcycle.
The Pride of Cumbria air ambulance was called to the scene, along with other emergency crews.
The man, whose injuries were not life threatening, was assessed and treated at the scene.
He was then transferred by road to the minor injuries unit at Penrith.
