Man assaulted in west Cumbria after confronting vandals
Witnesses are being sought after a man was assaulted in a west Cumbrian town.
The 58-year-old man confronted a group of youths in Whitehaven after a flat window was smashed with a glass bottle.
The youths then assaulted the man, causing a graze to his head.
The incident happened in the Castle Park area at about 10pm on June 2.
