Main road in Cumbria blocked after crash
One of Cumbria's main stretches of road was blocked after an accident this morning.
Police received reports of a collision on the A596 in Flimby about 7.30am.
The two-vehicle crash is said to have happened on Station Road, near the junction with Ryehill Road.
Motorists faced slow traffic with the road partially blocked.
A police spokesman said nobody was injured in the crash.
The road is now fully open.
