The M6 has been cleared following a crash involving two lorries.
Two lanes of the southbound carriageway have reopened. They were closed following a collision at about 10.15am near junction 42.
No one was reported to be injured in the collision.
One of the drivers was a 58-year-old man from Hatfield, Chelmsford. The other lorry was said to be a southern Irish vehicle.
