Firefighters tackle van blaze in Carlisle
Emergency services were called to a van fire in Carlisle last night.
It happened in Brisco Road, Upperby, at 7.45pm.
A crew from the Carlisle East fire station responded.
The fire was in the engine compartment of the van, which was well alight.
Firefighters wearing breathing equipment used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
