Fallen tree closes A595
A FALLEN tree has blocked the A595 in west Cumbria.
The major route is closed at Blackbeck Roundabout, at Egremont, due to a tree on the carriageway.
Cumbria Police are diverting traffic via Beckermet.
A weather warning is currently in place across Cumbria, with high winds expected to continue throughout the night. Motorists are urged to take extra care and drive to the conditions.
