TRAIN services have been delayed today after a death on the line between Carlisle and Penrith.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the tragedy near Calthwaite.
Train services were badly disrupted after the line was closed following the incident.
Passengers travelling with Virgin, TransPennine Express and CrossCountry services faced long delays.
No further information has been revealed about the death.
