A 14-year-old boy was one of two people airlifted to hospital in a matter of hours following separate incidents near Ullswater.
The Pride of Cumbria was first called to Patterdale to reports that a man had been hit by a car.
The 65-year-old involved suffered minor injuries.
He was treated by the crew of the Great North Air Ambulance Service alongside paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service and a BASICS doctor before he was flown to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
The man arrived at hospital in a stable condition after his 16-minute flight.
Whilst the helicopter was heading back to base in Langwathby, the Pride of Cumbria was called High Dodd where a teenager had fallen and suffered leg injuries.
The 14-year-old boy was assessed and treated at the scene by the aircraft's doctor-led crew before he too was airlifted to hospital in Carlisle.
His condition was also described as stable upon arrival after his 12-minute flight.
The incidents happened on Wednesday afternoon.
