Armed police deployed to Carlisle rail station
Armed police were deployed to Carlisle railway station last night (Monday).
The armed officers - together with unarmed officers - were called at 8.35pm to reports of a man behaving in a suspicious manner.
They were deployed as a precaution.
A 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with a public order offence and was in custody.
No further details have been released.
