An accident on the A66 has been cleared and traffic is back to normal.
The road was partially blocked and there was very slow traffic due to the accident which involved two cars on the eastbound carriageway of the A66 near Troutbeck.
The cars involved were a blue Toyota Auris, driven by a 61-year-old man from Redhill, and a blue Porsche Boxster, driven by a 54-year-old man from Carnforth.
Cumbria Roads Police tweeted that there were minor injuries at the scene.
The accident was reported to police at 1.11pm. Disruption lasted until 3.30pm.

Stagecoach has also tweeted that they are expecting delays.
