JLS pull out of Carlisle concert

Top pop band JLS have scrapped their summer show at Carlisle's Bitts Park.

in the 60s the beatles played in the Lonsdale cinema,loads of people attended. THE COSMO,at Harraby had full houses, every week when all the big named groups played there. THERE WERE INDOOR EVENTS ! come on whats needed in carlisle we need an indoor complex,what carlisle got,a damp open public park,with scruffy toilet block with a few expensive food outlets on the day. the citys not encouraging major groups to come to carlisle.

Have just received refund today and it is not the face value of tickets as promised but Â£5.65 less and also they haven't refunded the postage fee. I knew I would lose the transaction fee but didn't realise I would have to pay postage when nothing is going to be posted to me!! I have e-mailed Gigantic and await a reply!

Just received refund back to debit card from Gigantic - Â£4 less that originally paid! Clearly they have kept booking fees and/or postage costs.

Several years ago a Leo Sayer's Carlisle concert was cancelled. The bloke from the Sands phoned to give me the bad news saying that only 3 tickets had been sold!

I had bought 2 of them. Can the other Carlisle based Leo fan now own up please.

JLS did NOT make this decision!!! they did not sell enough tickets!!! so if your so devastated that is why! and why say it has ruined your life/year/birthday or whatever because lots of things will ruin them a boy band will NOT!!! Their producers cancelled, what boy band would want to hold a concert for about 100 people when they can get more people else where!?
