Drunk and disorderly soldier sentenced by Carlisle court

A soldier was arrested for being drunk and disorderly on a night out in Carlisle.

City magistrates heard it was the fourth time in 12 months that Carl Christopher Munroe-Nuttall had been in court for the offence.

Munroe-Nuttall, 21, from Blencathra Court, Penrith, was found by police drunk early on December 21.

He looked dazed outside the Church nightclub in Botchergate and when officers searched him he became aggressive.

He admitted being drunk and disorderly and was fined £300 and told to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
