Cumbria police name man in sudden death probe
Last updated at 16:20, Friday, 17 February 2012
Cumbria police investigating the sudden death of a man in west Cumbria have named him.
Barry Abram, 37, of North View, Crosby, near Maryport, was found dead at his home at 3.58am yesterday by the ambulance service.
Mr Abram was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics prompting a police operation to determine how he died.
Detectives yesterday said they were investigating the circumstances surrounding his "sudden and unexplained death."
However, a spokesman for Cumbria police said that although they were making "further inquiries" into his death, it is no longer being treated as suspicious.
The coroner and Mr Abram's family have been informed.
