Cumbria police appeal after gang attack on man near park

A man in his 40s suffered facial injuries after being attacked in Workington.

The incident happened late on Monday night on Vulcans Lane near the entrance to Vulcan Park.

Police are looking for three men in their 20s in connection with the incident.

One is said to be 6ft tall, of slim build and was wearing a black hooded top.

Another was stocky and wearing a grey hooded top and a dark jacket. The other was of average build and wearing a multicoloured baseball cap with black peak.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Call 101.
