Customers of Carlisle airport will see a reduction in fuel costs and landing fees.
Stobart Group announced that it wanted to recognise the support of the general aviation community during the construction of the new terminal and runway at the site.
Landing fees will be discounted at 20 per cent for August and reviewed for September and Avgas fuel will be £1.70 per litre, including VAT, from Friday until Sunday September 30.
Jet fuel prices will remain unchanged at market rates.
Stobart Café, located in the North Apron, will also offer a free tea or coffee with every purchase above £5,
The latest announcement follows the airport’s reopening to light aircraft on Tuesday.
Kate Willard, head of corporate projects at Stobart Group, said: “These amazing offers show Carlisle Lake District Airport is well and truly open to the general aviation community, who have been incredibly supportive over the last few months.
"Our lower landing and fuel fees mean this gateway to the Lake District and the south of Scotland is even more accessible to light aircraft.”
