Police were called to a Carlisle street yesterday following reports that a chain had been tied across the road, blocking the entrance.
Officers attended the scene on Ascot Way, off Durdar Road, at around 7.40pm.
A spokeswoman for Cumbria police said: "Whilst attending the incident three youths matching the description were traced and spoken to.
"They were warned about the dangers of such behaviour and their future actions."
