A woman has been banned from driving after being caught behind the wheel while over the drink-drive limit.
Briar Margaret Mann, 26, of North Row, Whitehaven, drove a Fiat 500 on Mid Streetin the town on September 5 with 57mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Mann appeared before District Judge Gerald Chalk at West Cumbria Magistrates Court in Workington and admitted drink-driving.
She was banned from driving for 15 months and fined £130. She must also pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
