TWO lanes are closed on the M6 through Cumbria this morning after a lorry overturned onto the central reservation.
A lane is closed both ways on the M6 between junction 39 at Shap and junction 40 at Penrith.
Police and Highways England have been dealing with the incident throughout the early hours today. It is believed to have happened at around 2am.
Highways England say there will need to be repairs following extensive damage to the central reservation barriers and drivers should be aware.
Ongoing work to recovery the HGV will also be taking place.
