THE catwalk is being used to raise money for charity in west Cumbria.

This summer the third Hospice Front Row Fashion Show is set to take place at Energus in Workington.

Money from the event will be donated to Hospice at Home, which helps people who wish to spend their last days in their own properties.

The event will showcase women’s fashions ladies from a range of retailers including Coast, Next, Per Una, Phase Eight, TOPSHOP and Wallis.

Anyone who attends will be given a glass of fizz and be able to buy clothes for a 50 per cent discount.

Community fundraiser Stella Walsh said: “This is the third show for Hospice at Home West Cumbria and our event just keeps getting better every time.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for the ladies of west Cumbria to grab a real bargain while enjoying an evening out with the girls. With the experience of two shows under our belt we are sure the evening will once again be a huge success.”

The charity’s last fashion show – also held at Energus, which is at Lillyhall – in October 2015 sold out at 200 tickets and was the biggest event held in England for the show’s hosts, Colours Fundraising Fashion based in Manchester.

Faye Temple, events and marketing co-ordinator said: “Energus are thrilled to welcome the Hospice at Home Fashion Show back again in June.”

The event is on Thursday, June 2 at 7pm. Tickets are priced at £7. For more information call 01900 873173 or email stella.walsh@hhwc.org.uk
