Police are investigating several thefts from vans in the Currock and Upperby areas of Carlisle.
Overnight on Wednesday, going into Thursday, two vans parked on Beaumont Road and Sunnymeade, Carlisle, have been targeted and tools stolen.
The suspects forced the locks of both vans in order to gain access.
Police are requesting any information which may lead to the identity of those involved.
Police would also like to remind residents to secure all property, do not leave any valuables including tools in your vehicles overnight, and park your vehicle in a well lit area if possible.
