Police have arrested three teenage boys after a car was stolen from a Carlisle gym.

The white Citroen C1 was taken from the car park outside Lifestyle Fitness gym, Currock, on Monday at about 10.30am.

Officers say the suspect has then driven himself and friends around the nearby streets.

A 15-year-old boy and two 17-year-olds were arrested in relation to the incident and are helping police with their inquiries.

Cumbria Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who saw the vehicle between 10.30am and 2pm to get in touch.

The car, which has a grey roof, has the registration PY14 GAA.
