Three men have been arrested following a spate of burglaries at farms in west Cumbria.
Two of the men - aged 26 and 27 - were arrested on suspicion of burglary yesterday.
A 47-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
All three men are currently in custody.
The incidents include:
*A red Honda quad bike, strimmers and chainsaws being stolen from a farm in Little Orton overnight between July 22 and 23.
*A break-in where nothing was stolen at a farm in the Longthwaite, near Wigton, overnight between July 19 and 20.
*A quad bike being stolen from the same farm overnight between July 22 and 23.
*A petrol lawnmower and petrol strimmer being stolen from a farm in the High Longthwaite area overnight between July 19 and 20.
*A car key being taken from a farm in the High Longthwaite area on the morning of July 20, resulting in an Audi S4 being stolen. Work tools were also stolen overnight between July 23 and 24.
*Property, including a chainsaw, being stolen from a farm in Dovenby overnight between July 23 and 24.
*A strimmer being stolen from a farm in Bridekirk overnight between July 23 and 24.
