Teenager has part of his ear bitten off after alleged incident in Workington pub
A teenager had part of his ear bitten off following an alleged incident in a Workington pub.
The 16-year-old man, from Workington, was taken to the West Cumberland Hospital, in Whitehaven, after the alleged assault last Thursday.
The incident happened at around 9pm at Vinnies Bar, Finkle Street.
Lancelot Arthur Neen, 40, of Greysouthen, Cockermouth, has been charged with wounding with intent.
He appeared before North Cumbria Magistrates Court, in Carlisle, on Saturday and was remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on January 27.
