ONE of Britain's liveliest stand-up stars has announced he will bring his brand-new tour to Carlislea next year.

Ross Noble will appear at The Sands Centre, in almost a year to the day - on Friday November 2, 2018.

The award-winning comic takes his new show, El Hablador, out on the road next year, showcasing his off-the-wall story-telling and eccentric adventures once again.

This time he will assume the identity of El Hablador - seemingly just Noble using the title as an excuse to dress up in costume.

The TV regular and influential performer returns to dance around the stage spinning out all the nonsense in his head into a hilarious stand-up show.

Since starting out working comedy clubs under-age, Noble has become known as a truly exciting and genuinely original performer and has received huge critical acclaim. He is a former Perrier Award nominee, Barry Award, and Time Out award winner for best live stand-up, and has won plenty of other prestigious awards and nominations.

Each year and each show has seen Noble’s live following grow to the point where he has been the best-selling show at both the Edinburgh Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival on more than one occasion. His shows have transferred to London and Sydney each year since 2003 and venues have grown in size to accommodate his ever-growing audience.

In 2010 Noble was voted 11th in Channel 4’s 100 Greatest Stand-Ups, and he is a regular on panel shows, including BBC One’s Have I Got News for You.

Ross Noble is now perhaps the most successful cult comedian of our time, with a loyal fanbase derived largely from the word-of-mouth recommendations of those having seen him perform live.

Famed for his super quick freewheeling style and highly imaginative flights of fancy, a Ross Noble show is always an unmissable event.

Ross Noble brings El Hablador to The Sands Centre on November 2, 2018, and tickets are on sale from the venue's box office from 10am on Thursday November 9.
